I'm relatively new to the Charlotte area, so I haven't fully explored it. I'm always up for something new, and would love to have company while exploring the Queen City. I love the Whitewater Center, and the mountains are a mere two hours away. One day I'd love to hike the entirety of the Appalachian Trail in one go. I know it isn't practical, but hey, what are dreams for?

My dog, Inu, is my best friend in the world...even if she doesn't pay her share of the rent. I've had dogs my entire life but this one is by far the best.

After high school, I spent six years in the Navy as a reactor operator - four and a half of those years were aboard the USS Pasadena (Fast attack submarine) out in Pearl Harbor. Having traveled all over the eastern seaboard of Asia, I've learned plenty of stories and learned quite a bit about life, the universe, and everything. After I traded ET1 (SS) Rowden in for plain ole' "Mike", I worked in a steel mill in South Carolina for about a year. I learned quite a bit there, too. Now I work as an electronics technician for the Department of Justice and I love it.

Working out is very important to me; I feel that since we only get one body in this life, it's important to maintain it. I do love food, though. So that's a constant battle.

I love cooking, but am terrible at baking. If it isn't lasagna, stuffed peppers or roasted potatoes (or the occasional quiche) and it goes in the oven...it's magic to me. Give me a plate to learn, though, and I'll perfect it (or get fat trying!)

I'd like to think I'm a pretty open-minded and easy to approach guy, but of course, that's entirely up to you to decide.
