I'm agnostic and after a few rounds on some other dating sites, I remembered that after the twenty-ninth or so "I'm sorry but we're not matched - you see, your god will smite me for my freethinking ways, and I know if you fall for me, you'll feel the need sooner or later to tie me to a bed for an exorcism or conversion therapy or something and I'm just not into that." Well, through this medium - only first meetings - coffee, a light hike, maybe meet up at an event like First Fridays. No pressure, low time/ money investment for everyone involved. To learn more about chess - where I could actually do a tournament. Fencing - I took a class in college and keep meaning to take one again. Let's see, the last time I found myself really having a blast, I was saran wrapping strangers to a stripper pole I'd let someone shove through a piano I'd built so that a woman I knew could have a moment of rolling around on it singing show tunes in a sequinned dress at a celebration of Octopuses that I threw together on the fly with twenty people I know I can throw such ideas out to and they will jump on board.

Not that this is the only sort of thing I have fun at, but you know, that level of hilarity is something I seek. And adore when I can find/ make it.
