I think life is about friends, family, having fun, and making people laugh. I am honest, loving, caring, loyal, sincere, love children and am looking for a woman who has the same qualities. About me:
I'm honest, caring, faithful, respectful, supportive, serious at times but often silly, enjoy interesting conversation and debating on numerous topics, love science and nature, love animals, love family, have a great sense of humor and love to make people laugh. I find it a challenge to make even the most serious person crack a smile (Smiling makes you younger - learned that from Leo Buscaglia). I never get lost so don't make me ask for directions. If I appear to be lost I'm not, I'm just enjoying the scenery. If it's broken I can fix it. If I can't fix it it never worked in the first place. lol

When not dining out I enjoy spending the evening at home cooking a meal and watching a movie while curled up on the couch with my sweetheart, lights dimmed low. I also love the rain. It's a great excuse to lay in front of a roaring fire while watching a movie and eating popcorn. When I do go out for dinner I enjoy sushi, indian or thai cuisine, or finding a new or unusual restaurant to try. Some of my favorites are La Fondue, Forge in the Forest, Stinking Rose, and House of Prime Rib.

I believe it's important to have a lot in common with your partner, but also to each have your own interests. I believe it's necessary to have a balance of things that you both share in common but also be able to have time alone or away from one another on occasion. It also allows each of you to introduce new things to your partner that they might not otherwise try. It adds spice to life. I often find that things I wouldn't enjoy or do on my own are enjoyable if I'm doing it with someone I love. And I believe that sharing experiences together is part of building a strong and healthy relationship.

About you:
If you can't laugh at yourself then you're taking life much too seriously. You're willing to get your hands dirty if necessary to either work in the yard or on the house and then get dressed up to go to a fine restaurant. Not afraid to try new things or adventures. Willing to eat take-out or left-overs. Aren't snobby and don't like snobby people. One day you can sleep in late and be lazy all day and then up by 5am on the next for a full day of activities until late at night. You're ambitious but also have balance in your life. You love surprises and like to be spontaneous. If an interesting opportunity arises most of the time you can make the time for it. You agree with 100% of everything I say or do! You know that I am sometimes full of crap, but you still love and respect me. You don't always have to ask someone for directions!

Actually the real fun begins on the second date because the first date should be something simple and easy in order to find out if there's mutual interest for a second date.
The date would start with a fun and light activity that allows us to have light conversation while getting to know each other - billiards, bowling, wine tasting, walk in the park. That would be followed by drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and conversation. This is just the warm up to dinner and should tide us over while we then take a nice leisurely drive while enjoying the scenery and making our way to a nice scenic restaurant. Many of my favorites are Bella Vista, La Fondue, Forge in the Forest in Carmel, numerous other restaurants along the coast or in San Francisco.
