Caring, considerate but adventurous single father, divorced, with two children aged 17 & 15 living with me and at school, well educated, a good conversationalist, with a rich life experience to draw on. I’m seeking new female friendship. I place no expectations as they can lead to disappointment, and create unfair pressures. Would enjoy a caring, loving relationship, especially a kiss or cuddle, but know that this is best left to develop naturally at its own speed, I don’t care how fast or slow, so long as it feels right for both people. If we only remain friends I won't complain - friends is really good, caring or passion is icing that may or may not follow.
I love music, both playing and listening, mostly rock, though classically trained, and my tastes are very wide.
I have loved travelling throughout my life, though haven't been as active of late for various reasons. I also love all other arts, reading, theatre, cinema, fine art, sculpture and ballet. Can't stand the current cult of celebrity, wouldn't consider myself a sportsman, and not really into spectator sports, but got really caught up, like so many others, with this year's Olympics, and learnt how tennis is scored so no longer think it is boring, now find it quite exciting.
I suffer ME, so am forcibly retired, and can become fatigued, but it doesn't stop me enjoying life, and definitely wouldn't stop me enjoying a relationship to the full, or reciprocating that enjoyment.
I'm not looking for another wife, or equivalent, I've done all that, and wouldn't want to relinquish the control I have over my own life, but that does not mean I am not ready for a committed relationship if it develops naturally, and anyway, I strongly believe in "Never say never again". Most of all, I want something/somebody genuine, with warmth and hopefully some fun.
