I hold out hope that of the many beautiful souls out there, I may yet connect with one who wants to celebrate life and our unique personal connection….
Not looking for perfect or conflict free fantasy, but at least a love that does not require humoring superstitions, patronizing, or tolerating manipulation.

I am in my late sixties looking for a partner in her fifties or sixties with the wisdom and patience to see how we might write a happy ending over the years to come, notwithstanding the challenges and vicisitudes, past, present and future, as life unfolds.

I retired from a career as a high school teacher (AP Psychology, Government, History, etc.) several years ago, but have since returned to daily duty as a substitute to replace the half of my pension consigned to spousal support… 🤷‍♂️ I have four adult children, the youngest of whom is 27, and more grandchildren and great-grandchildren than you might guess!…I believed my days of child-rearing were far behind me, but came out of that retirement as well…😁 I became a primary caregiver of a granddaughter who lives a mile away two years ago when her mother became incapacitated… I live alone in the house where I shared with my mother before she succumbed to COVID two years ago, still regrouping and putting my fortitude and optimism to the test…😄 ….So many dreams have been placed on hold. Life is busy, but never dull. Still, I often imagine being close to a warm partner as autumn turns to winter…🍁. Remember “Our House” …”is a very, very, very fine house/life used to be so hard/now everything is easy ‘cause of you….?”
Idyllic? Yes. Hopelessly unrealistic? I refuse to believe that… ✨
