Thankfully, I'm not one of them. Being god-free is not a virtue. It's evidence that I might think rationally in several important areas, and as a lifelong, unassuming nonbeliever and skeptic by nature as well as "training," I would never be compatible with a partner of strong religious faith. I'm not saying I'd think less of the other person or fear catching god-cooties or somesuch; it simply wouldn't work.Beyond that, I'm not here to talk about non-belief, or the fact that I'm "spiritual but not religious" (a garbage phrase -- get honest, folks, you can be neither) or wow you with all of the books by New Atheists we've probably both read. I'm just newly single, bored and unusually sociable at the moment.
