I'd describe myself as an introverted optimist. I don't believe in the word whom. I'm the kind of man that stayed with one woman for nearly 45 years. I'm kind, easy-going, soft-spoken, intelligent, forgiving, affectionate, tolerant, drama-free, but opinionated. I love a good debate, but I won't argue. I am honest, and straightforward, sometimes a little too blunt. I value my integrity. I can carry on an intelligent conversation, and consider myself a good guy. I'm a dog lover, especially German Shepherds. I've got a Pug. I have a large tattoo on each shoulder. If you're looking for refinement, and polish, better keep looking. I'm seriously considering selling my house and buying something lakefront in just about any state. I love the north country, and I love snow, but I don't know how I feel about being snowbound all winter. How about you? Warmer climates sure sound inviting.
I grew up in SW Michigan, but for the first 5 years after high school, I traveled the country on my thumb, only staying in one place long enough to save enough money to move on to the next place. I've been everywhere, except the extreme northeast, and the extreme northwest. I'm very active, I'm always elbow deep in at least one project, like working in my yard, or on my Hot Rod, or helping someone else. I can also be extremely spontaneous. I like to go to live shows, or sit at home, and watch TV. I like to watch good movies, educational channels, and the news. My interest are varied, I'm into Muscle Cars, Hot Rods, and Harley's. I've been to Mexico, Canada, the southern Caribbean, and the Bahamas. I loved them all. I'm really more interested in what nature has to offer, like the National Parks. I've been to Yellowstone twice, and to the Grand Canyon, but I want to see them all. I would love to see Alaska and the Northern Lights up close and personal. Australia, and New Zealand too. I'd really love to see the Rockies by touring trains, or bike. I prefer to eat healthy. I don't gamble, golf, or karaoke, and I've never danced. I'm not really into sports, except for Nebraska Football. I prefer Classic Rock, mostly from the '70s, '80s, and '90s, but I like a lot of different music, even some newer stuff. Do you like Imagine Dragons?
What I'm looking for: I'm not perfect and don't expect you to be either. I value intelligence, compassion, a monogamous, nonsmoker, nonalcoholic. Someone Whose political views aren't too extreme. No Trump Supporters. Someone that is tolerant of others, and patient. Someone that can accept me for who I am, with all my faults. Someone that can sit down with me, look me in the eye, and keep nothing from me, as I would with her. A woman that is kind and loving. Someone with a smile on her face, and knows how to laugh. Someone that is happy with the simple pleasures in life. As much as I value intelligence, I am not looking for someone with a Graduate Degree or Ph.D. What would we have in common? If you have a higher education and are interested in me, I'd love to hear from you though.
If you're looking for a real down to earth guy that would really appreciate you for the princess that you are, then I'm your man. A man that respects your right to be your own person with your own likes, beliefs, and preferences
If you are the right woman, I would want to share my life with you and make you happy. So put your hand in mine, and walk awhile with me. I am more than willing to relocate for the right woman I have nothing holding me here, and I have no problem driving 10 hours to see her.
