Hello Fellow Love Seeker.That is you, right? Sure, we are a little older, but longevity runs in my family and I don’t want to give up on love yet, do you? I want to enjoy life’s adventures with someone at my side; someone who loves me and whom I love. A man who listens to me and remembers what I say. I’m attracted to intelligence, good sense of humor and calm demeanor. He has learned from previous relationships and knows who he is and what he wants. A man I can have fun with. And someone I can trust. That’s a big one.People describe me as very smart and very funny. Sometimes I laugh so hard with my friends it feels like a workout. That’s pretty wonderful.I am a politically aware progressive thinker. I honestly don’t have patience for backward views and attempts to control others’ lives. I don’t care for dogma. I am passionate in my beliefs, and that spills over into other areas. Passion. Yes. I have that.I enjoy quiet things: working in the yard, conversation and a glass of wine, spirited discussion, funny stories. I read, listen to NPR, work on home improvement projects or just think. I spend time in my sunroom, watching the birds, bunnies, deer, or maybe a neighbor riding a horse. TV is controlled by TiVo and Netflix. I watch on my schedule. I love movies. I love the theater. I saw “Book of Mormon” at the Aronoff in January. It was such fun. I have a bike but no one to ride with currently, so in the garage it stays. I walk every day, or try to. And I have taken Tai Chi classes for four years now. You should see me with my sword!I am involved in some community activities but always take care not to overextend. I like time to myself to decompress. I love to travel and want to do more, though haven’t been able to do much recently. I hope to change that. I enjoy road trips with opportunity to observe the passing countryside and have good conversation. I envision more exotic trips, too. I picture myself in Paris, with my love, cruising down the Seine while eating a wonderful meal. Later, we cuddle in our room overlooking the Eiffel Tower, lit up against the night sky. Could anything be more romantic?I am open to new activities. I find the company is the most important thing anyway. If the two of us enjoy each other, it doesn’t really matter what we do.I like music from the 70s and 80s mostly, but some current stuff gets sprinkled in there from time to time.
