My research in the Physics department at UT involves building ultra-intense lasers and shooting them at things.I race cars on the weekend....when I can. This activity impoverishes me but is too fun not to do. I also occasionally instruct people on high performance driving on race tracks. I like fine wine (not consumed before racing cars). I also like floating the rivers around central Texas to beat the heat.I travel a lot for work and go frequently to Europe.
